Testimonials
As high school graduation approached, my plans were up in the air and I seemingly had no direction. After discussing my interests and skill set, Marla helped me conduct a step-by-step plan that connected me to colleges and majors that resonated with me.

I was in a transitional period within my career and wasn’t sure what steps to take next. Marla helped me lay out a plan of execution that was far from daunting, in fact it was easily and realistically obtainable. Thanks to Marla, I’ve been hired at my dream company and now carry the tools I need to succeed.

Marla and I worked together while I was still in high school. She told me, “Pete you should try to learn many languages, because your rhythm score indicates foreign languages would come easily for you, even ones like Japanese where inflection and cadence matter.” I took that to heart! I’m now fluent in Spanish, nearly fluent in French and have working knowledge of Italian. I decided to try Russian this semester and my professor said next semester I can skip ahead to the next class level.

The highland test helped me choose the path of DPT (Doctorate in Physical Therapy) and rule out being a PTA (Physical Therapist Assistant). I learned my strong idea productivity meant I could be working against that strength in a role where I must do the same tasks in the same way every time. I job shadowed both DPTs and PTAs and saw how in the DPT role I could come up with ideas, ie diagnose and develop an exercise plan, and tweak or change it as needed. Before spending the time (and money) to pursue the longer DPT path, I needed to be confident about it.

“Marla’s guidance was invaluable to the growth I have experienced in both my professional and personal lives. She nurtured the discovery of hidden strengths and passions which allowed me to focus and define my holistic vision. Marla’s process set me on a path to a new city and career that led to much greater fulfillment and success.”

Marla’s career coaching was based on who I was as a unique individual, while most others are still attempting to alter who I am as an individual to fit their own vision of a successful career.

Power in Your Dreams
October 17, 2017 By marla
Did you dream of being a fireman, football
player, or a teacher?
Who asked you what you want to be when
you grow up? What is “Grown Up”?
Did you ask yourself?
Do you still have that dream? What’s next?
There is POWER in your dreams. I’m talking
about the dreams in your heart. When you
think about what you want in your life and
how you are going to get there. What is it
that makes you excited?
